Can you buy maelstrom crystals

You have to be an enchanter and must make some PvP. So you get a Maelstrom Crystals. I just dont see why it has such relevance to be in Elite? I've been doing this ever since it was possible because it was common sense, just like buying epic items from the conquest vendor, equip and buyback. Repeat until all meta requirements are done and enjoy achievement. It's simply in elite, because it's probably not intended that you should be getting the crystals from these items, so the more people that get to know it, the bigger the chance is that blizzard will see this bug?

So everyone isn't doing this. Originally Posted by Vyre. Let me get this straight: People are actually gonna use their conquest points on the second best PvP wand ingame, to disenchant it into ONE Maelstrom crystal?

Ok, so you got the Maelstrom Crystal worth gold. If you sell it, what are you gonna use your gold on? Probably other items that can't even be compared to the item you just disenchanted. Now, you can only buy one of these wands a week Conquest point cap. This means you can only disenchant it once a week, and only sell it once a week. I don't understand why it's even moved to elite. Comment by mats on my server cost about g, currently selling these for g. Comment by Cellon At such prices for mats, these enchants better have an awesome glow! Comment by Krala I'm quoting this because it is useful information and it is getting downrated for no reason other than greed.

Comment by Expendable If your an alchemist and enchanter on your character you can make the epic trinket then disenchant it. Comment by cheesemonster No. Or at least, not the Guardians of Hyjal stuff. I couldn't be arsed to check the rest but I'd be surprised if they blocked it for one faction and not the rest.

Comment by Maelstrom Crystal really costs a lot! Comment by Oeconomia Unfortunately, there are now at least 2 tailoring recipes that apparently also DE into this crystal, if wowhead's DE table is to be believed. If your an alchemist and enchanter on your character you can make the epic trinket then disenchant it.

Comment by xsherbearx Confirmed on Cataclysm Hotfixes Blog. Under Professions in January 7th - 18th Hotfixes. Lifebound Alchemist Stones can no longer be disenchanted. Drops in BH aswell. DE engineering helm, seems the least expensive epic to make for DE. Buy Relics for VP each. Note: All above are soulbound and you must be an enchanter to DE :.

Maybe g, if you get the materials very very cheap and find someone who's transmuting nearly for free. But I prefer buying it for g, because it takes too much time. But it's still a profitable way, to get rid of Chaos Orbs.

First of all, you'll need Chaos Orbs. Running heroics only for Chaos Orbs is not very profitable. There will be other people, who roll on the orbs. You can get more money per hour, if you farm something else. It's just a good way to get rid of Chaos Orbs under special circumstances. This leads to the second point. You have to be an engineer AND an enchanter. If you don't have any of this professions, you'll need about Chaos Orbs to pay the costs for changing your professions.

And this will take some time. For them it would be a nice option. Comment by Maelstrom Crystals at the current state make Enchanting even less attractive for profit making, than before. Few enchants I have made using these I sold with a loss, so be careful.

Comment by LeminaAusa Once the valor point items are converted to justice points in the next content patch, you'll probably see a steady stream of these from enchanters DEing the point relics assuming they remain at points when converted to justice points, if not, well Comment by Alfa Too bad we cant have a enchanter DE them in the Not for Trade tab in the trade window, or id be making the engineering helmets ;p.

Enchanters are now to oil rich countries--Only they can make the Maelstrom Crystals and All higher level enchants require them. The Price is out of control! Comment by AzureShadow42 Until 4. Comment by Jevay Come patch 4.

Comment by bluesoda The prices of end-game enchants will plummet as well as these when 4. Better start diversifying so you can still rake in profits if you rely on enchanting as your only source of income.

EDIT: replaced vendor with auction house, because Why downrate? What I said was true. Comment by xlordt These go for 1 - 2k on my server shadowsong , but I think I rather wait for the price drop.. I don't think its worth the gold. You'll also be able to cash in on the Bountiful Bags guild perk for extra crystals. Enchanters themselves can buy the Valor Justice Point relics and disenchant those, giving them a 6. Comment by Peso Patch 1.

Comment by Captinawsome In the upcoming patch 4. Splits a Maelstrom Crystal into two Heavenly Shards. Comment by ViceVersa In patch 4. Comment by groupon After patch 4.
