Im new around. I have a bunch of broke laptops and i use their hard drives as Backup's Disk with a external enclosure for Desktops and also another laptops. I have never tried but my friend have a pc with a Laptop HDD and works with no problem , as someone said the only difference is physical size. Like others have said there is no difference other then the Physical Size.
