How long civilization game

Hafer described as "the most transformative step forward for the series. Taking an infant civilization and growing it over the course of several millennia would take anyone a fair amount of time.

The six victory conditions Science, Culture, Domination, Religion, Score, and Diplomacy in Civilization 6 further contribute to the hours you'll spend immersed in this virtual world. Whether your end goal is to have a dominant military, technological superiority, or a strong cultural influence over other civilizations, you'll need to put in the work. So, enjoy the newly ported Civilization 6. Just remember: no one likes an evil dictator. I almost won :P.

Well CIV 1 took about 8 hours from start to finish and so did 2, 3 took about 32 hours or so on a huge continent, 4 I never got to work no matter what I did, and 5 seems to takes me like 2 weeks or longer since I don't have time play but a few hours each day. I always play with prince, huge map, 14 AI and 22 city states, which obviously makes games last a lot longer then on smaller maps. From my experience at a sexy pace, Quick 2 hours Standard about 6 Epic havnt finished one but probably close to 3 days of 4ish hours a day my longest one that almost won but got bored Marathon HA LOL All were standard size earth maps but judging from the little data each one takes about 3x the amount from the earlier one.

So epic takes about hours. So assuming this, marathon might take close to 60 hours for a standard on earth map game. As others have said, it depends on map size and game speed, but it also depends on three other important things: 1. How long you spend figuring out your strategies. If you're like me, you can spend a lot of time studying the map, studying the information screens and planning strategies. I spend a lot of time just looking and thinking. This makes the game take much longer, but I enjoy that, and it's kind of necessary on the very hard difficulty levels because small mistakes can cost you the game.

Are you the kind of player who likes to tell your population exactly which tiles to work or do you let the game decide?

Do you like to manually assign your specialists? Do you give individual orders to all of your many workers or let them run around on auto? All this fiddly stuff takes a lot of time. Constant nuclear bombardment and sabotage have melted the world's ice caps over and over again, resulting in the flooding of all terrain other than mountains.

He said his world is full of swamp which is useless for farming and irradiated lands. It's exciting that a fan of the series would dedicate 10 years to playing one continuous game.

Before you think Lycerius is just an unfeeling ruler, he said he does want to find a way to end the longstanding war. I want to rebuild the world. But I'm not sure how. Reddit users have been filling up his post with suggestions on how to make his world livable again. And a new thread has developed, called The Eternal War , where players are chatting about their own experiences.

We applaud you for playing what's sure to be the longest-running game of 'Civ' ever.
