RAM management should be better t The problem why a lot of Android phones have issues with "not enough ram" is more because of all the bloat there is on some phones, and that includes apps, forced functionality that can't be turned off, skins and so on, I prefer companies do something about THAT instead of releasing phones with stupid amount of RAM to "solve the issue the lazy way".
Wait why do you use a decade old phone in the first place. While I'm sure the task to optimize the OS for several different phones, SOCs and manufacturers is enormous, Google definately has the capacity and capability to do so.
